1. Introduction

Health & Fitness Calculators Suite PRO is a powerful, elegant, and highly responsive WordPress plugin that allows you to embed professional health calculators on your website. It provides two distinct calculators:

BMI (Body Mass Index) Calculator: Helps users determine if they are at a healthy weight for their height.
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) & TDEE Calculator: Estimates the daily calorie needs based on a user's physical characteristics, gender, and activity level.

The plugin is designed to be fully customizable, allowing you to tweak colors, default values, accordions for extra information, calculation formulas, and social sharing options.

2. Installation

Upload the levelnetwork-health-fitness-calculators folder to your WordPress plugins directory (/wp-content/plugins/).
Go to the Plugins menu in your WordPress dashboard.
Find Health & Fitness Calculators Suite PRO and click Activate.
A new menu item named H&F Calculators settings will appear in your admin dashboard.

3. Usage (Shortcodes)

The plugin uses shortcodes to display the calculators anywhere on your site (pages, posts, or widgets).

          BMI Calculator Shortcode:

          [levelnetwork_hfc_bmi]

          BMR & TDEE Calculator Shortcode:

          [levelnetwork_hfc_bmr]

Simply paste these shortcodes into the WordPress editor where you want the calculators to appear.

4. General Settings

Navigate to H&F Calculators settings > General Settings to configure global options.

Option	Description
Measurement System	Set the default unit system. Choose between Metric (cm, kg) and Imperial (ft/in, lbs).
Show Measurement System Selector	Allows front-end users to dynamically toggle between Metric and Imperial units via a switcher button.
Enable Social Sharing	When enabled, reveals specific social network checkboxes (Facebook, X/Twitter, WhatsApp, Email).
Social Platform Checkboxes	Toggle individual platforms to display clean, SVG-based sharing buttons below the calculation results. Allows users to easily share their scores on social media.
Sections Output Order	Allows you to rearrange the frontend blocks of the calculator. You can assign a numerical order (1, 2, 3...) to display the Results, Extra Info, Recommendations, and Newsletter sections in your preferred order below the calculation form.
Reset to Defaults	A utility button found at the bottom of every settings tab allowing you to quickly restore exactly the settings within that tab back to their original installation state.

5. BMI Calculator Features

Navigate to the BMI Calculator tab in settings.

Range Settings: Define the minimum, maximum, and default values for height and weight sliders.
Visual Legend: Toggle the display of a color-coded legend explaining BMI categories (Underweight, Normal, Overweight, Obese classes).
Information Accordions: Create unlimited FAQ-style accordions that appear below the calculator. Perfect for explaining what BMI is, its limitations, or providing health tips.

6. BMR & TDEE Calculator Features

Navigate to the BMR Calculator tab in settings.

Calculation Formula: Choose the scientific formula used for BMR calculations:
- Mifflin-St Jeor (Recommended, most accurate modern standard)
- Harris-Benedict (Original formulation)
- Revised Harris-Benedict (Roza and Shizgal standard)
Activity Levels (PAL): Edit the descriptions and multipliers for different Physical Activity Levels (Sedentary, Lightly Active, etc.).
Range Settings: Set min/max/default values for age, weight, and height.
Information Accordions: Add customizable accordions to explain BMR, TDEE, or calorie deficits.

7. Customization & Styling

The plugin includes a built-in styling engine to perfectly match your theme. Go to H&F Calculators settings > Style Settings.

You can customize almost every visual aspect without writing CSS:

Colors: Primary accents, background colors, text colors, and result category colors (e.g., green for normal weight, red for obese).
Sliders: Track colors, thumb colors, and active states.
Typography: Adjust font sizes for section titles, labels, output results, and accordion text.
Borders & Radius: Configure border colors and button/container border-radius for sharp or rounded looks.

The ultimate fitness funnel and data capture toolkit for WordPress. This addon plugin dramatically expands the capabilities of the base Health & Fitness Calculators Suite plugin. By activating PRO, you unlock five new calculators, interactive visual charts, precise macronutrient recommendations, conditional product recommendations, and integrated lead generation forms.

8.1 New Calculators & Shortcodes

The PRO version adds five new powerful calculators, each with its own dedicated settings tab in the WordPress admin panel for labels, default values, ranges, and accordions.

Body Fat Calculator: [levelnetwork_hfc_bf] - Uses waist, neck, hip measurements and the US Navy method.
Ideal Weight Calculator: [levelnetwork_hfc_iw] - Calculates ideal healthy weight bounds based on various scientific formulas (Robinson, Miller, Devine, Hamwi).
Water Intake Calculator: [levelnetwork_hfc_wi] - Highly customized water intake suggestions based on weight and activity levels.
Lean Body Mass: [levelnetwork_hfc_lm] - Calculates Lean Mass (Boer/James).
Target Heart Rate: [levelnetwork_hfc_thr] - Calculates resting and active target heart rates for cardio training using the Karvonen formula.
1RM (One Rep Max): [levelnetwork_hfc_one_rep_max] - Calculates 1-repetition maximum and training percentages based on Epley, Brzycki, or Lombardi formulas.
Pregnancy Weight Gain: [levelnetwork_hfc_pregnancy_weight] - Provides recommended maternal weight gain guidelines based on pre-pregnancy BMI.

8.2 Gutenberg & Elementor Support

You don't need to manually copy shortcodes! Health & Fitness Calculators Suite PRO registers native Gutenberg Blocks and Elementor Widgets.

When editing a post/page:

In Gutenberg: Click the `+` icon to add a block, and search for "Health & Fitness Calculators Suite". You'll find a dedicated block for every single calculator.
In Elementor: In the widget panel, search for "Health & Fitness Calculators Suite" to drag & drop any calculator into your Elementor canvas.

8.3 Interactive Visual Charts

Make your results pop with beautiful, animated SVG charts. Navigate to Settings > Settings > Global Settings and find the "Visual Chart Settings" section (unlocked in PRO).

You can choose between:

Speedometer: A beautiful gauge dashboard showing your current level.
Horizontal Bar Chart: A clean bar showing your progression.
Half-Doughnut: A modern doughnut slice showing category bounds and your current stat.

8.4 Macronutrient Breakdowns

In the BMR/TDEE Calculator, you can now provide users with an exact gram-by-gram breakdown of how they should be eating based on their goals.

Go to Settings > BMR Settings. Enable the Macro Breakdowns. This adds two new dropdowns to the frontend TDEE calculator:

Diet Type: High Carb, Balanced, High Protein, Ketogenic, etc.
Goal: Maintenance, Mild Weight Loss, Aggressive Weight Loss, Bulking.

The plugin will instantly suggest exact Protein, Carbs, and Fats numbers in the result screen.

8.5 Lead Generation (Email Capture)

Turn visitors into subscribers! Go to Settings > Lead Generation.

When enabled, users will calculate their metrics, but the final Results Box will be hidden. Instead, they will be prompted with a clean Form asking for their Name and Email in exchange for their result.

This drastically increases mailing list signups compared to traditional popups.
Subscriber details are securely saved in the native WordPress database table.
Auto-Add Registered Users: Optionally enable a setting that automatically adds any new WordPress user registration to your local leads list.
Manage & Search: You can view and manage all captured leads directly in the "Lead Generation" tab. Use the search input to filter subscribers by name or email, and easily reset the view.
Export & Import: Export leads to CSV or XML. You can also import external leads into the local list, or use the Delete All button to quickly start fresh.
API Integrations: Directly sync your newly captured leads to popular third-party email marketing platforms in real-time. Supports:
- Mailchimp: Enter your API Key and Audience/List ID.
- MailerLite: Enter your API Token and optional Group ID.
- Brevo: Enter your API Key and List ID.
When enabled, leads are safely sent to these platforms in the background. If a network error occurs, the lead is still safely stored in your local WordPress database.

          Note: Conditional Recommendations and Lead Generation cannot be active
          simultaneously on the same calculator. Conditional Recommendations takes priority.
        

8.6 Conditional Product Recommendations

Make money or drive conversions directly from your calculators by displaying specific products or HTML blocks based on the user's calculated result!

Go to Settings > Conditional Product Recommendations.

BMI Categories: Define a specific WooCommerce shortcode (e.g. [product id="123"]) or custom HTML to display if the user is classified as "Underweight", "Normal", "Overweight", etc.
Body Fat Categories: Define specific shortcodes or HTML to display based on the user's Body Fat percentage classification (e.g., "Essential Fat", "Fitness", "Obese").
Frontend Experience: The user enters their metrics and clicks "Calculate". Below their results, if a recommendation is set for their specific category, that block will smoothly appear. This is perfect for offering targeted coaching plans, PDF guides, or specific fitness supplements based directly on their physical stats!

8.7 Custom PDF Reports

Instead of the generic report, PRO users can fully brand the generated physical PDF.

Go to Settings > Settings > Global Settings and scroll to "Advanced PDF Customization".

Upload your company's high-resolution logo.
Choose the logo placement (Top Center, Footer, etc.).
Inject a custom HTML-rich footer string (e.g. your website link, legal disclaimers, or phone number).
